HOTEL CLEANING STAFF WANTED – ABN ONLY

Location: Brisbane City (CBD)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contractor (ABN required)
Pay: From $25/hour (negotiable)

We are hiring for two roles at a major hotel in Brisbane CBD:
1. Public Area Cleaner
2. Houseman / Housekeeping Assistant

Both roles are part of the cleaning and presentation team and require attention to detail, reliability, and independence.

PUBLIC AREA CLEANER – Responsibilities:

• Clean hotel lobby, hallways, elevators, public restrooms

• Vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning

• Refill toilet paper and bathroom supplies

• Empty bins and tidy up common areas

• Report any maintenance issues

Shift Time: 3PM – 11PM
Experience preferred, especially in hotels or large commercial buildings.

HOUSEMAN (MALE) – Responsibilities:

• Support the housekeeping team (deliver linen, collect rubbish, assist room attendants)

• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and trolleys

• Respond to housekeeping or front desk requests (e.g. extra towels, baby cot delivery)

• Assist with setup or cleaning of event rooms if needed

• Basic physical fitness required (some lifting involved)

Shift Time: TBD
Experience preferred but not required – training provided.

Requirements for Both Roles:

• Must have or be able to get an ABN

• Reliable, responsible, and punctual

• Ability to work independently

• Must have legal working rights in Australia

• Friendly attitude and good hygiene standards
