Part-Time and full time Kitchen Steward
Location: The Westin Brisbane, Brisbane City
The Westin Brisbane is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Part-Time Kitchen Steward to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen facilities.
The shifts are as follows: Morning shifts are from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Afternoon shifts are from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Shift times can also be adjusted if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, and pot-scrubbing stations.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment using appropriate detergents, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals.
• Clean and mop all areas throughout the kitchen.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; promptly report any maintenance needs to the manager.

• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
